Located on the first floor of the maternity unit, this ward is an inpatient area used for high risk women and those requiring induction of labour (IOL).

2 single rooms with en-suite
The Obsteric Team review women daily to discuss care and formulate a management plan. The Consultant Obstetrician for Labour Ward will review the needs of all women and prioritise their care accordingly, this may mean your induction of labour being delayed slightly if there is an emergency occurring on the Labour Ward.
Those women in greatest clinical need or with special conditions will be allocated single rooms.
