Antenatal care at Kingston Maternity Unit follows guidance from NICE and Maternity Matters, all healthy women with an uncomplicated pregnancy will have care in the community setting, shared between a Midwifery team and the GP.
If you have, or develop medical or obstetric complications this pattern of appointments will alter and an Obstetrician will coordinate your care, appointments will be in both hospital and community settings. Antenatal care is provided in the community, Kingston Hospital and at Queen Mary’s Hospital at Roehampton.
