Kingston Hospital now has Midwives in attendance at a variety of Children’s Centres within the borough, these centres are increasing and our integrated teams will link with them.
These have proven very successful as they allow women to access antenatal and postnatal care locally. Some parent education classes also take place at Children’s Centres.
Midwives providing specialist care can also be accessed via the Children’s Centres e.g. Sure Start Midwife and the Positive Start Midwives.
