FAQs When will I go into labour?

When will I go into labour?

This is very difficult to determine. For most women, labour will start between 37-42 weeks.

Usually the baby's head is down in the pelvis eg: head first, from around 36 weeks onwards. The usual position is one where the baby’s back is towards the front of your stomach. Your midwife will be able to advise you of this and suggest tips and hints that may enable your baby to adopt a good position.
