Learning from Experience

Here at Kingston Maternity Unit we are constantly seeking to improve the services we offer to women. To help us in this we regularly seek feedback from the women who use our facilities and we will share this information here to help you follow our progress. We learn from your experiences and will be frequently updating this section with your anonymous comments to keep you up to date with feedback on our services .

Analysing Patient Experiences

All women attending the Maternity Unit are asked five questions about their experience. The Patient Experience Tracker will show the analysis of these results on a monthly basis. Please help us to improve by taking the time to answer these questions.

Patient Liaison - Get Involved!

The Maternity Services Liaison Committee aims to ensure we as unit take account of the views of women who use our services, and their families.

The MSLC is a dedicated committee of local representatives and health professionals which advises Kingston Hospital NHS Trust and NHS Kingston, who finance the local health services.

Will a midwife I know be at the birth?

Unfortunately, this is not necessarily possible on all occasions. We are currently developing smaller teams of integrated midwives.
