Amenity rooms are single rooms with en-suite bathroom facilities are available for women after they have given birth at Kingston Hospital and are situated within the Maternity Unit's postnatal wards. They offer women and their families the opportunity to pay for a single room.They are not private rooms and the care you will recieve is the same as for all other women in the Maternity Unit.

Visiting Amenity Rooms
For security reasons and to ensure the safety of our women and babies there are no facilities for partners/ children to stay overnight and relatives and friends are asked to adhere to the visiting hours for the unit when coming to see you
Booking an Amenity Room
You cannot pre-book these rooms. When you come into the Maternity Unit to have your baby inform the receptionist that you would like an amenity room, they will check if there is one available and let you know.
Payment
The receptionist will ask you to complete a form with personal and credit/debit card details. Unfortunately, we cannot accept American Express or Diners Credit Cards. Amenity rooms are charged at £100 per night and payment will only be taken if a room is used.
