Feeding Your Baby

Feeding Information & Advice at Kingson

Kingston Maternity Unit is working towards UNICEF’s Baby Friendly accreditation to ensure the implementation of best practise for infant feeding and in particular breastfeeding. This award is given to health care facilities that give the best standard of care, enabling women to make informed choices regarding infant feeding and to breastfeed successfully.

"If asked to recommend where to go for the best information on feeding I'd strongly advise patients to take a peak at the UNICEF Baby Friendly website, it gives clear information on breastfeeding, bottle feeding and feeding a preterm baby"
