Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT) is a screening test that helps detect certain genetic conditions in your baby. It’s a simple blood test which analyses small fragments of your baby’s DNA which circulates in your bloodstream.

Accurate results: NIPT has an accuracy rate of over 99% for detecting common genetic conditions like Down's syndrome, Edwards syndrome, and Patau syndrome. It is important to note that it is a screening test, and not diagnostic.

Results

You will receive your result by telephone within 10-14 days, followed by a letter. Our screening team are on hand to discuss any next steps.
