Visiting Times

Dads-to-be and Birthing Partners

Partners will be able to stay, unfortunately we are unable to provide a bed due to space limitations and hospital beds are not suitable for two adults. Toilet facilities can be found by receptions. Further to feedback from patients, we request that all visitors remain in suitable daytime clothing and do not sleep in the hospital bed.

Malden Suite and Labour ward
Open visiting by 2 nominated birthing partners (24 hours) - no children

High Dependency Unit (HDU)
One nominated partner from 08.00 to 20.00 only - for infection control no other visitors (family, children or friends), no swaps or partners staying overnight

One nominated partner from 08.00 to 22.00 

Postnatal (including Transitonal Care and Worcester Ward)
One nominated partner is welcome to visit 24 hours a day, other visitors 15.00 to 20.00 

Other visitors

For infection control,only Dads-to-Be and Birthing Partners will be allowed in Malden Suite, Labour Ward and HDU see conditions above

In Antenatal, Postanatal (including Transitional Care and Worcester Ward) from 15.00 to 20.00, with a maximum three visitors at any one time.

For infection control, only visitors over 16 will be allowed in the Maternity Unit with the exception of the mother's own children



In all area apart from Malden Suite, Labour ward and HDU; the mother's own children are allowed to visit from 08.00 to 20.00
