Baby's movements

In pregnancy, you will be asked to keep track of your baby's movements. If your baby's movements become less frequent, slow down or stop, contact your midwife or doctor immediately. You'll be asked to come into the Maternity Unit to be seen and you may be offered an ultrasound scan to check on how your baby is growing and developing.

For more information, you can refer to the leaflet published by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
